為咗等大家唔使成日約我哋咁耐，我地決定舉行一日Flash Day。意思係當日不會接受預約，只接受walk-in，但只可以喺我地已經設計了的圖案揀喜歡嘅紋，有啲似紋身展咁。如果今次反應熱烈的話我哋會考慮每個月嘅第一個星期六都舉辦Flash Day😁 ！1/4(1-8pm) 見！先到先得！無得預約！今次Flash Day除咗有我們日常三位 Jayers @jktattoohongkong , Alan @yclung , Lexi @lexi_tattoo 之外，仲有幸邀請到兩位行家朋友一齊參與，分別係 Ro @ro886tattoo 和Mark @kovalenko.mark 。歡迎大家就算唔一定已經想紋但想睇下我哋有啲乜嘢設計都嚟睇吓！到時現場會有更多設計選擇！

You can ONLY pick from our wide selection of designs ready for tattoo by our resident artists Jayers @jktattoohongkong , Alan @yclung , Lexi @lexi_tattoo , and also two guest artists and friends of ours Ro @ro886tattoo and Mark @kovalenko.mark . First come first serve! There will be a lot more to choose from in our albums on the day. It's your chance to skip the line to get a tattoo from us! If this works we may consider doing Flash Day every first Saturday of the month!

Tā moko is the permanent body and face marking by Māori, the indigenous people of New Zealand. Traditionally it is distinct from tattoo and tatau in that the skin was carved by uhi (chisels) rather than punctured. This left the skin with grooves, rather than a smooth surface.
Captain James Cook wrote in 1769:
The marks in general are spirals drawn with great nicety and even elegance. One side corresponds with the other. The marks on the body resemble foliage in old chased ornaments, convolutions of filigree work, but in these they have such a luxury of forms that of a hundred which at first appeared exactly the same no two were formed alike on close examination.
The Tohunga tā moko (or tattooists) were considered tapu, or exceptionally inviolable and sacred.

We are moving in 2017!
After three years at our current location, we are excited to announce that we are moving. The new location will still be in the same neighbourhood, Sham Shui Po. We love the vibe and heart-warming culture here. It's local and down to earth, not fancy at all, and that's what we believe in at Lovinkit too. A lot of you who heard about it already told us how much you will miss our current shop. Well thank you for your support and love through out the years, but I assure you the new space will still be cozy and professional, only bigger and better. And yes! There will be a re-opening! So come hang out with us on the day. I will post details once we have them confirmed. Much love!

Good morning Lovinkiters! Jayers is booked up for 2016. She is planning to work at various overseas tattoo conventions in 2017 and may only spend half of her time in Hong Kong next year. She expects herself to resume taking new appointments for various cities in 2017 either towards the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017. Please stay tuned on our website or on her Instagram (@jktattoohongkong) for updates. From 2017 Jayers will prioritise clients who are most open to her artistic freedom and interest. Bigger projects and her regular clients will be prioritised too. She will try her best to accommodate everybody but as tattooing is her love and passion, it only makes sense that she hopes to grow and work in the way she envisions for herself now. We wish everybody a great day today and thank you for your tremendous support through out the years!

Hi all!
1) I'm going through my waiting list these days. I aim to get back to everybody by the end of this week. Some of you will get a consultation notification. Some of you will get an email asking for details of the tattoo you hope to get. I am prioritising projects that interest me at the moment.
2) If you hope to get a really small tattoo or my cursive script tattoo, feel free to walk in for a consultation on 5 June between 7-8:30pm. You are welcomed regardless of the waiting list status. This only applies to those who want to get really small or my cursive script tattoo.

Updates on Jayers' waiting list
Hello everyone! Jayers here! I'll be getting back to everybody on my waiting list by the end of May. I will be doing consultation days roughly every three weeks. If you can't make it to the first one try to make it to a later one! I can only meet a limited number of clients on every consultation day. It will be on a first come first serve basis so please check your email these days and reply promptly! Thank you for all your patience and love! I hope to get inspired by you and meet you all soon:)
p.s. Those who have already paid a deposit with me before my break will be my priority. I'll be working on you guys first before all the new appointments.

I will resume taking up new tattoo projects at Lovinkit Tattoo after my Vancouver work trip, which is happening 18/4-12/5. My official start date is tentatively 19/5.
